FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What size are your hats?

Our hats are one size fits most. The hats have a circumference of about 22.4", but do vary slightly as they are handmade. Please measure before ordering to ensure that your hat will fit, as custom hats are not returnable. The straw hats will also soften/stretch out with wear, kind of like breaking in a pair of shoes.

  • Can you make custom hats?

Yes! Please contact us to set up a custom order. Or you can leave your desired phrase in the notes box (where you would put your last name) on the Custom Honeymoon Hat™/Mrs. Hat listing. Custom phrases are subject to Honeymoon Hats discretion, so if you are unsure if a phrase would be acceptable, please contact us before ordering.

  • I need my hat faster than the 3-5 business days processing time! Can you do rush orders?

Yes, most of the time! Please contact us before you place your order so we can make sure we can meet your delivery date. We offer USPS Priority Mail Express in addition to our regular shipping. This option ships your hat in 1-2 business days guaranteed. We also offer overnight and UPS shipping, so please contact us if you need one of those shipping options.

  • Do you offer any discounts for purchasing multiple hats?

Yes, please see our Bulk Hats/Bridesmaid Packages page. Discounts begin at orders of 3 or more hats. We also offer wholesale packages to retailers. Please contact us for more information.

  • What if my hat arrives wrinkled from shipping?
We take great care in packing our handmade hats for their journey to you. Each hat is packed in a sturdy cardboard box with tissue paper and bubble packing material. There is still some room for the hat to get tossed around, however. If your hat arrives wrinkled, do not fret! This is akin to your new clothes needing to be steamed when they arrive in their packaging. In this case, you don't need an iron for the straw- simply water will do! Spray your hat with water on the areas with wrinkles, smooth in place, and let dry. Or, for a faster method, hats can be steamed, being careful to avoid the sequin area when using the steamer. The straw becomes malleable when wet. Your hat will also smooth out and soften with regular use, much like breaking in a new pair of shoes. The unique wired brim will still remain flexible so you can shape your hat to your preferred look.
